A 33-year-old man was found shot dead in a public street in Marbella, in the province of Málaga, at around 2.20am on Monday 24 August 2026. He had two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, and paramedics confirmed his death at the scene. The Policía Nacional opened a homicide investigation, with officers from the specialist violent crime unit (UDEV) at the Marbella station taking charge of the case. No arrest had been reported at the time of publication.
