Sommario

A person was found dead in a home in Märsta, north of Stockholm, on the evening of Tuesday 29 September 2026. Police are investigating the death as manslaughter. One man was detained and was being held under the Swedish pre-charge arrest measure. The prosecutor leading the investigation said on the Wednesday that an interview with the suspect and his defence lawyer was scheduled for that afternoon. No decision on remand had been taken and no charge had been announced. The sex and age of the victim were not reported.
