Sommario

A woman was shot in the head at a residence in the Sofielund district of Malmö shortly before 3:00 on the morning of 13 September 2026. Police said the woman raised the alarm herself and was taken to hospital; she was able to speak to officers, and her injuries were not considered life-threatening. The suspect, a man in his thirties, had left the flat but was arrested by a patrol shortly afterwards on suspicion of attempted murder. Police carried out door-to-door enquiries and interviews during the day.
